/ RoboCluster / Healthcare and Wellness
The Healthcare and Wellness RoboCluster drives development and adoption of robotics and embodied AI in areas such as rehabilitation, assistive technologies and exoskeletons.
We work with the Ministry of Health and Singapore’s three major public healthcare clusters SingHealth, NHG Health, and the National University Health System. We also engage private hospitals and non-profit institutions such as Lions Befrienders and SGEnable to explore opportunities for robotics and embodied AI in healthcare.
This RoboCluster addresses ageing population, workplace safety and manpower constraints by enhancing care delivery and operational efficiency. Successful initiatives include NRP-supported projects in medication management, robot interoperability, and rehabilitation and assistive devices.
